A Pragati Scholarship initiative for Girls from AICTE
The full form of AICTE is the All India Council Of Technical Education this is a board of examination that monitors the quality of technical education, looking into all the infrastructure guidelines to full fill the technicalities of education on college premises. This scholarship programme, is beneficial for girls and some 4,000 girls can avail the financial aid with this scheme. The girl must be studying in an institution in the first year of a technical diploma/degree course and this institute must be recognized by AICTE.
The scholarship is developed for the welfare of the female population in India and their overall empowerment. Other benefits of the scholarship lie in its achievements to strengthen young girls in all the skillset of education, and wide-scale expansion of their knowledge while boosting their self-confidence. This scholarship comes with benefits of INR 30,000 with other entitlements and the application is scheduled to be submitted between September and October.
The Govt support for the single girl child in the scheme of CBSE Merit scholarship
This scholarship’s main purpose is to enhance the caliber of Girls students who have successfully passed Class 10th of the CBSE board pattern with at least 60 percent of marks. This scholarship is limited to girl students who are the only child of their parents. The amount of the scholarship is INR 500 per month. The application is submitted in September and October.
Santoor Scholarship program
Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro care developed an innovative Scholarship with the name Santoor Scholarship program. This scholarship is financial aid to underprivileged meritorious girls dreaming of higher education after doing the 12th board examination.
This program was started in the year 2016-17 and aims in supporting some 900 students financially. This is an annual scholarship program extending to Indian states such as Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.
Cosmetics brand L’Oreal India Scholarship
The scholarship is aimed to benefit girl students of Class 12 who have passed the board examination in the science stream with approx. 85 percent of marks. Also, the girl beneficiary must be making their career by studying an undergraduate degree in Science/ Medical /Engineering or pursuing a professional degree in some scientific field. The age limit must not exceed 19 years and the annual income of their family should be within the 4 lakhs bracket. The financial aid is up to a sum of INR 2,50,000. The application is scheduled for the month of June and July.
Abhilasha Scholarship
This scholarship benefits from CSR an innovative initiative of EROS Group devoted to meritorious girls. This financial aid application program will soon be functional in the year 2020. The benefits are granted to girls studying from Class 9 to 12th and the total number of girls who can achieve the benefits of this scholarship is limited to some 100 students.
