Computer Science presents opportunities in the broadest range of professional disciplines. By maintaining a balance between education, research and interdisciplinary collaborations, our institute opens this universe of opportunities for our students. Our faculties are expert in their respective research areas and their research informs our curriculum keeping it timely and topical. Our Department reflects the spirit and excellence of JBIT.

Ten Computer labs are equipped with more than 400 Computer Systems, 2 servers and 10 online ups of 10 KVA. Lab is fully AC and each computer has 2MBps internet connection 24X7, which opens the door to vast knowledge.

We have different laboratories in the department for: C++, C, Advanced Java programming, .NET programming, Data Structures, RDBMS, Design and analysis of algorithms, OS (Windows and Linux), OOPs, CAD, MATLAB and many more.

Entry Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science & Engg, Information Technology or MCA with minimum of 55% in the relevant branch of Engineering. Candidate having valid GATE SCORE will be given preference in admission.
