Message of Director General

Prof. S.C.Sharma took over JB Institute of Technology as Director General in 2009. He has served Govt. of Uttar-Pradesh and Uttarakhand for about 37 Yrs. Up to 2001 and after that nearly 9 Yrs. as Director in various private Engg. College in UP, MP and UK. He served in various capacities as Lecturer, HOD, Principal, Astt. Director, Dy. Director, Joint Director and Director Technical Education. His contribution for about 45 yrs. in the field of tech. Education has contributed tremendously in development and quality improvement of Tech. Education.

Mr. Sharma has passed his B.Tech from Vikram University Ujjain (MP) AND M.Tech in Civil Engg. With first division. He has about 18 Yrs. Technical and 27 Yrs. of Administration Experience. His hard work has successfully completed a World Bank assisted project in UP and UK. He has established Technical Education Department in the newly formed state of Uttarakhand.

He designed the World Bank Project for Uttarakhand and presented in the ministry Before World Bank Mission and got its approval. He has prepared EDP project for one of the Engg. In Uttarakhand and presented to the Ministry of Science & Technology and it was accepted and launched.

Prof. Sharma has served many Engineering college of repute and the Institutions were highly benefited with his vast experience in the field of Technical Education. Mr. Sharma has contributed in AIEEE counseling as Govt. Nominee for Yrs and G B Pant University, Pantnager, Actively contributed to AICTE and Technical University matters for years in Conduct of Inspections and University Exam.

JB Institute of Technology will defiantly develop under the able guidance of Prof. S.C. Sharma as DIRECTOR GENERAL of the institute. Our VISION STATEMENT rightly states that this will be a YEAR of EDUCATION WITH IMAGINATION. Our goals and objectives have to be, therefore, necessarily higher. The stress will have to be on enhancing the Intellectual Capital of the teacher and the taught. This alone is the key, I feel, to transform JBIT from a leading institution of UTTARAKNAND to a leading institution of the country.
